Well done real Trance and not Ambient Trance; which those who aren’t knowledgeable in EDM thinks Trance is. I almost feel like you could also make it into a loop as too would make this even more attractive to the game developers here to use.

Raylectro responds:

I guess I'm just really knowledgable with Trance! And yes I recognize what your idea would be, it might attract game devs to use my track for their video games if it was a bit more repetitive :) But at the same time I try to switch things up a little in my songs to keep people interested, but maybe I can make a loop version :)

Fun love simsynth it’s a completely underrated rarely used synth.

X-500 responds:

Now, yes

Can’t say anymore than what has altered been said. The track is amazing with minor, extremely minor, mixing adjustments. Mostly in V2 for me the drums are a little intense and causes sone auto clipping of the audio signal making the vocals dissonant slightly. They could’ve been softened a little using a lowpass filter with slightly decreased cutoff frequency.

Not saying it should be changed at all. I’m hust saying that if I had to give a critique. The song is perfect otherwise really catchy with a timeless lyrical theme. Phenomenal work by both of you.

Candle responds:

Gotcha! Thank you so much for the kind words and the feedback!

Wasn’t expecting the bells to kick in; But I love ‘em. The way you breakdown the music as it progresses is so good it just adds to the tracks flavor.

Beautiful work. Never would I have thought to combine both pieces. Definitely gives a feeling of reminiscing over memories and any recordings of them.

Mmmmmm that easy listening chill vibes. Kinda like being on hold, but your enjoying it anyways cause the track is so good. Or like being in an eccentric trendy novelty/home goods store in the long wait line, because only one checker is open.

The mixing/mastering is phenomenal. Well balanced between the sonic frequencies. Not one sound is overpowered. They all come in and out of auricular focus perfectly having their time in the light and as the foundation for the lead when in the background.

I also love using Em scale it’s soo good for key changing because it just sounds so good with almost, there’s a few that are horrible, all other scales.

yagru responds:

thanks for the awesome review! wish i could remember my mindset when i was writing this one lol. i appreciate you!

Really loving this one. It’s groove is an instant jam and has major loop-ability. Can just keep it playin on repeat.

I’m using it for GD and can’t just cut it off, so I’m doing the whole track.

Challenge Accepted.

HOLY F******* ****!! Best example of the Synthwave genre I’ve heard in a really long time. Last time I heard great examples was when the genre was starting to get recognized.

Makes want to play my Genesis more than I normally do. That system had some great game soundtracks.
